Kim`s Video – rental store on Ave. A in Alphabet City of Lower East Side, NYC
In the years 2000 – 2001 iconic video rental store chain KIM`S VIDEO distributed across New York City four movies on VHS released by Daniel Strehlau: The Jews of Warsaw, Hanukkah, a Double Time, The Windows and Misunderstandings.
Daniel Strehlau worked at this video rental store for several months. The rental store became a local film club, frequented by local residents as well as prominent artists such as Lou Reed and Jim Jarmusch, whom Daniel Strehlau had the honor of meeting at the store.
